What is AlloyMind?
AlloyMind is a single-player colony sim for iPhone and iPad. You oversee a colony of scrap-bots with minds of their own: they mine scrap, ask you for new buildings, learn, make friends and rivals, and defend the colony from raiders. Your bots can also fight in the Arena, a turn-based hex battle.
Is AlloyMind free?
The download is free and Chapter 1 is free: founding the colony, the Mainframe and its build list, Recharge Pods, the Fuel Depot, Sentry Towers, the Mod Chamber's basic paints, the first anomaly puzzles and the Arena. The full game is a one-time in-app unlock: the game offers it when you authorize the Lab, and you can open it any time from Settings → Game → Full game. The App Store shows the price for your country before you confirm. There are no ads, subscriptions, loot boxes or virtual currency.
What does the full game add?
The Lab and its experiments, bot shields, the Forge and the Relay, the Neural Dome, the full Mod Chamber, all eight anomaly puzzles, exploring the Wasteland, the Rolling Battery, the Telescope, the Ark and new worlds to colonize, up to five colonies, and clean Bot Cards with stats.
Does AlloyMind need an internet connection?
No. The colony and the bots' minds run on your device, and the colony keeps working for up to four hours while the app is closed. A connection is only used for the optional full-game unlock, iCloud saves and sending a support report.
Which devices does AlloyMind run on?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 15 or later. The game is in English.
How do I restore full-game access?
Open Settings → Game → Full game (or authorize the Lab), then tap Restore purchase. It checks for an unlock linked to the same Apple Account, including on a new phone, after a reinstall or through Family Sharing. The game also checks with Apple at launch, so a reinstall usually unlocks by itself.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. The developer can't issue refunds or see payment details.
Will I lose my colony if I delete the app?
Not with iCloud saves on (Settings, on by default): your colonies come back after a reinstall and follow you to a new iPhone or iPad. With iCloud saves off, deleting the app deletes the colonies; the developer never receives your saves.
Why did my bots stop working?
The colony runs on fuel. Bots turn the ore they mine into fuel, and when it runs out they power down to save it (LOW POWER). Let them mine (the Industry directive), build the Fuel Depot for more storage, and don't add bots faster than the colony can fuel them.
Why isn't anything being built?
A blueprint waits until the colony has the scrap for it, and some buildings need a sharper bot first. The NEXT line under the top bar says what's missing and roughly how long it will take. Give a bot the Studying job to sharpen its mind.
How do I redeem an offer code?
Settings → iCloud & privacy → Redeem a code (iOS 16.3 or later), or the link on the full-game card. It opens Apple's own code sheet.
How do I report a bug or get help?
In the game: Settings, then Report a problem (also in the pause menu and on the title screen); it sends your report straight to the developer, with a screenshot if you like. On the web: alloymind.io/support. You can also email hello@alloymind.io.
Who makes AlloyMind?
AlloyMind Studios, an independent studio in the Netherlands (a trade name of Reach Works). The game is built in the Godot engine.
